ALPINE COMPUTING
We
started in the computing business back in 1995; working 4 days on a
mine site then 4 days working a computer business from home. By 1997,
this had become too large for the home, with the kitchen being the only
place that had not been taken over by the equipment! We then moved to a
shopping complex for 2 years in which time we went from 3 staff to 5,
followed by the major move to the centre of the city with over 200
square metres of floor space and 9 staff. After 5 awesome and exciting
years, we moved cities for family reasons. We went back to only 2 staff
for two years. Then we moved again. We then worked 3 years with only
the two staff. Now we have made the transition to an online store which
only requires 3 staff members. We also have our IT consulting division
for customer service. We have finally settled now in Perth WA. We have
warehouse access across Perth and our head office is based in Lesmurdie
hills overlooking the awesome Perth city.
